As a highrise (I don’t like writing high-rise) specialist, I’m always struggling to match my clients’ “wants” with reality. People always want something higher up, or a little bit larger, or a better view. I get it…I’m probably pickier than anyone I know (just ask my ex-girlfriends). Well, to everyone who’s been looking for an amazing property with incredible views that isn’t $4M, I have the perfect place for you – 325 Seventh Ave #2103.
What I love about this property is that you get incredible water views, but you also get Petco Park, the downtown skyline and everything else that’s exciting about downtown San Diego. With only four residences per floor, these penthouse units capture the essence and excitement of being downtown. In terms of the layout, this is about as good as it gets for a 1,466 sqft condo. The master bedroom is separate from the guest bedroom and living room and has an incredible view. The master also has a large walk-in closet and a large secondary “his” closet. The bathroom has plenty of storage and a large walk-in shower. The living room has a dedicated dining room and opens up to the gourmet kitchen, which has a walk-in pantry (something very few condos have).
The spacious living room offers the best views and has an additional den (the wall was removed from this home) for more entertaining, or an office/guest room. The guest bedroom also has amazing views and a connected guest bathroom (there are two doors to the bathroom allowing access from the living room, or guest bedroom). There’s also ample storage in the numerous hall closets and the laundry room is about twice the size of most laundry “closets.”
Now I’m sure there’s a lot of you saying, “I don’t like baseball,” or “It’s going to be too loud for me”….my response….so what. If you’re looking to be downtown, you’re going to have to deal with some noise. And being up on the 21st floor, you’re not going to hear a whole lot. As for baseball, I’m not as fan either, but I love the excitement and energy it brings to the city. Petco Park is an amazing stadium and it’s fun to go to the games and just hang out. You can see little kids going to their first ball game, or diehard fans coming out to support their team…it’s pretty amazing having that right outside your doorstep (which is highly secured and patrolled by security during events).
The Legend #2103 isn’t for everyone, but if you want an incredible penthouse that isn’t going to break the bank, this is a must see. And if it’s too loud/fun/exciting for you, I have a house in Carlsbad that might be perfect for you.
