Well I suppose I could give you a long list of healthy foods to eat, like tuna, oranges, spinach, or egg whites, but that would be no fun. Instead, Ill introduce you to The 20 Worst Foods in America, at least according to Mens Health magazine.
As a 27 year old, single male, I must admit I dont have the best eating habits. Eating lunch, anywhere from 11am to 3pm is pretty normal for me, since I almost always skip breakfast. I also find myself eating a burrito, or some other snack, after most people have already gone to bed. I eat fast food mostly out of convenience, but yes, sometimes I really want a number 7 from Taco Bell. Its not that I cant cook, its more that I dont have the time, or dont make the time to cook for myself.
And with a job that takes me takes me all over the place, at different times on different days, it can be hard to establish a regular eating pattern. The worst part, is that I was a personal trainer for over two years. I worked at a gym and I also trained privately for a while. My greatest accomplishment was helping a young woman lose 30 pounds in under a year (that might not sound like much to you, but it was pretty awesome seeing how happy she was).
The upside however, is that I play soccer 2“3 items week, I go to the gym about four days a week and luckily, my metabolism is still running on high. But thats besides the point.
This blog post is just a little something for all of you to remember when you go to order lunch, or dinner for the family. You dont have to count calories and just eat lettuce, but dont be completely blind about your health.
