I rarely complain (in public) about other agents, but I recently witnessed something so incredibly frustrating, that I have to share it. I’m so tired of the lack of knowledge, professionalism and morals in real estate and it kills me to see agents “represent” their clients so poorly. I don’t claim to be the best agent, but I do know what I’m good at and I won’t represent a client if I think I won’t be able to properly assist them.

Do you live downtown and have a cool, urban looking condo? I’ve been contacted by an upcoming show called Flipping San Diego that will be on TV later this year and they’re looking for some inspiration. If you live downtown and have remodeled your condo and want to be on TV, please contact me ASAP. They’re looking to film in the next week or two and it will only take an hour or so. They’re looking for an “urban, contemporary” feel. Thanks.

I’m not 100% of the authenticity of this emails/report below, but they are from local condo building managers and I thought I’d share them just in case(* I just found this link on the UT). Apparently there have been a few attempted attacks on people in the downtown area. Please be careful.
“The below email and attached composite were sent to me from the manager at Discovery regarding the attempted attack last night on 8th Ave near Symphony Towers. I heard from another manager that there was an attempted attack on an M2i resident about 2 weeks ago. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially if walking alone. Be mindful about being distracted while texting/emailing/phone calls.”

What are those stupid looking little blue and white cars all over downtown? Until just now, I thought they were some sort of marketing campaign that was taking up valuable parking spots. BUT now…I can’t wait to get in one! Car2Go is a sign that San Diego is becoming “greener” and that possibly, we’re becoming a real downtown!
Car2Go is a car sharing/renting service that is similar to Zip Car, except it’s much cheaper and Car2Go uses electric cars. Basically, people sign up for the service and then they can “rent” these cars anytime they want. Read the rest of this entry »

Today is a huge day for many of us. For me, at 28 years of age, this may be the biggest election year of my life. All I want to say, is go out and vote – vote for what you believe in and not what someone told you to believe in.
For those of you in San Diego, here’s a link to help you find your polling place.

Its the week before Halloween and I have no idea what Ill be doing. I have no costume, nor do I even have an idea of what I want to be. Shortly after I bought my condo 3 years ago, I went out and bought some candy to pass out at Halloween. Unfortunately, no kids decided to come by my neighborhood(I live in neighborhood that primarily consists of apartments and condos). I was ready the next year and the next year “ still no kids.

Like most people, before I got into real estate, I had no clue how Realtors made a living. Sure, they sell homes, but how do they actually make money? The answer to that, these days especially, is that we work hard.
