Car2Go in San Diego

Screen Shot 2011-12-06 at 11.23.44 AMWhat are those stupid looking little blue and white cars all over downtown?  Until just now, I thought they were some sort of marketing campaign that was taking up valuable parking spots.  BUT now…I can’t wait to get in one!  Car2Go is a sign that San Diego is becoming “greener” and that possibly, we’re becoming a real downtown!

Car2Go is a car sharing/renting service that is similar to Zip Car, except it’s much cheaper and Car2Go uses electric cars. Basically, people sign up for the service and then they can “rent” these cars anytime they want.  Read the rest of this entry »

Where Can I Vote?

Today is a huge day for many of us.  For me, at 28 years of age, this may be the biggest election year of my life.  All I want to say, is go out and vote – vote for what you believe in and not what someone told you to believe in.

Trick or Treat

Its the week before Halloween and I have no idea what Ill be doing.  I have no costume, nor do I even have an idea of what I want to be.  Shortly after I bought my condo 3 years ago, I went out and bought some candy to pass out at Halloween.  Unfortunately, no kids decided to come by my neighborhood(I live in neighborhood that primarily consists of apartments and condos).  I was ready the next year and the next year “ still no kids.

San Diego Farmer’s Market

Farmers marketOne of the benefits of living in San Diego is the beautiful weather.  Obviously.  As a result, we get to enjoy a sunny 71 degree day in February, while much of the country is faced with snow, tornado warnings and thunderstorms.  Another benefit is that we have year round fame r’s markets!
