Pinnacle is one of Downtown San Diego’s most popular buildings. It’s central location and incredible views are what makes the Pinnacle a great place to live. Developed by Michael de Cotiis of Pinnacle International in 2005, this 450 foot tall, 36 story tower was the last best investment, before the market turned.
The Pinnacle Museum Tower is located at 550 Front Street, on the south side of Market Street. At the base of the building is the always popular Richard Walker’s pancake house, along with Union Bank of California. On the other side of the building is the new Children’s Museum.
Ceiling heights are typically higher here, ranging between 9–12 feet and the standard finishes include marble floors, granite

A $36,000 La Cornue stove, 75 slabs of granite and marble, a 750 bottle wine cellar and a 70 inch Sony Wega tv are just a few of the many extravagant features that make this Renaissance Penthouse truly one of a kind.
What began as a relatively modest $575,000 remodel project, soon snowballed into a $3 million dollar renovation for Jim and Jerilyn Shaw.

According to the December 4th, 2007 edition of the San Diego Daily Transcript (SDDT), Douglas Manchester still has the green light to move forward with his self-proclaimed Pacific Gateway Project. The San Diego Navy Broadway Complex Coalition (SDNBCC) is a group of local residents who oppose the proposed development and recently contested that a 1992 environmental review of the area was too out dated to be used for current development. The City Council voted 6–2 in favor of Douglas Manchester however and will continue to move forward…for now at least.

For those of you who are new to blogs, or real estate blogs, join the club. I signed up with the Real Estate Tomato just a few months ago and since then, I’ve been running from blog to blog, reading and learning about how to write blogs, how to increase my search engine optimization, to reading blogs about blogs.
What I’ve discovered, or rather confirmed, is that you can read about anything and everything on the internet. That’s why it was that much more exciting when one of my blogs was chosen by Mathew Padilla of the OC Register, as one of the top three blogs he came across in the Carnival of Real Estate.

The market is bad, homes are over priced, inventory is too high and interest rates are terrible….sound familiar? Well is that really the case? Having been in the business for three years, I’ll admit, this is still somewhat new to me. It’s true, I’m not as experienced, or as old, as some of my colleagues. However, I have been in the business long enough to know that bad news sells better than good news and that older isn’t always better.
Here are a few highlights on an article that Alan Nevin wrote in the September issue of the San Diego Metropolitan magazine.
