San Diego Food Bank Food Drive

Windermere Signature Properties and I are hosting a food drive for the San Diego Food Bank. Currently, there are about 483,000 people in San Diego County who live at, or near the Federal Poverty Level. According to the SD Food Bank, “over 70% of these individuals are children living in low-income households who face the threat of hunger daily.” The Food Bank has been feeding San Diegans since 1977 and distributes over 15 million pounds of food a year.

2008 Red Bull Air Races

The Red Bull Air Races are coming back to San Diego! Making its second trip to San Diego, locals and tourists will get to watch the high speed, low altitude acrobatics across San Diegos bay. This will be the second round of races for 2008, with the first round having already taken place in Abu Dhabi. This year, the event will take place May 3rd and 4th at the Embarcadero Marina Park and Seaport Village downtown.

Red Bull Air Races in San Diego

If you haven’t heard already, the Red Bull Air Races are coming to San Diego! Red Bull has chosen San Diego to be one of only two US cities to host this worldwide event this year (the other being Monument Valley in Utah). This year’s other hosts include Abu Dhabi, Rio de Janeiro, Monument Valley, Istanbul, Interlanken, London, Budapest, Porto and Perth.
