The Best San Diego Realtor

Well maybe not the best, but one of the best. I was recently selected as one of San Diego’s “best in client satisfaction” Realtors for 2007. This recognition means a lot to me, because I was selected by you guys – my clients(and not just based on how many millions of dollars with of real estate I sold). I just wanted to thank all of you for being my clients and look forward to helping you and your friends.

You can see my name in the March 2008 issue of San Diego Magazine. Here is the press release if you have nothing better to do…

A Day in the Life of my 3.83 Years in Real Estate - Part 1

As a kid who went to a university that primarily focused on science and engineering, that didn’t even have a business program at the time, I have no idea why I went there to study marketing. As it turns out, it was one of the best decisions of my life. It was in college that I met some of my closest friends and found out that I wanted to become a Realtor.

SanDiegOh meets Geek Estate

Header

I am now offically a geek – or at least a regular contributor for the Zillow created,Geek Estate Blog. The site was created as a resource for real estate professionals who want to learn more about how they can grow their business through smart use of technology. I was asked to join the site and write about how I use technology to reach out to my clients, specifically those of the Generations X and Y.

6 Months as a New Blogger

So I started creating my blog in June of this year, but I’ve only been really blogging since August or so. Today being November 13th, that means I’ve been a blogger for about three months. My site, www.SanDiegOh.com, is now getting closer to where I want it to be, in terms of appearance and functionality, but it still needs work.

With 52 posts, I’m hardly near the 100 mark I aim to be at by the end of this year (especially since some of these blogs are just “Featured Listings” and others are from my lender). Still, I’m relatively happy with my progress. Six months ago, I had no clue how large the real estate blog world was, nor did I know that Geek Estate even existed!

What Can SanDiegOh Do For You?

Sandiegoh-upsSo you’re ready to buy a home here in San Diego. Great. You’ve done your online research, you’ve gone to open houses and you may even know which house you want. Now what? Are you looking at a handful of names that your friends and coworkers have recommended you use as your Realtor? Have you met any of them? Are they any good?

This is a stressful time for you. Not only are you looking to make a huge and very emotional investment, you’re trying to find the perfect person to represent you – someone you can trust, relate with, who understands your needs and someone who will at the end of the day, get the job done.

Generation X - Caution: Read Instructions Before Use

iPods. Treo 700p. Torents. Guitar Hero. Jager Bombs. Flash Drives. Wikipedia. Google Earth. Rehab(not the AA kind). 802.11a/b/g/n. SMS/MMS.

If you just read this and have no idea what I’m talking about, then chances are, you’re not part of my generation. What is my generation? Well, depending on who you ask, having been born in 1980, I’m a Generation Xer. The “technical” definition is those who were born immediately after the Baby Boomers. The exact end date (roughly 1980 – Generation Y or the Millenials coming after us) for this generation is debatable, but that’s not the point. The point is, is that with approximately 49 million text messaging, Bluetoothing, pho-hawk wearing, DVRing, Blackberry multitaskers, all you pre-Gen Xers need to adapt.

Home…What’s in a Name?

So what does owning a home mean?  What are the first thoughts that come to mind?  Money? Investment? Deal?  Chances are, if you’re old enough to rent a car, you’ve been thinking about, or at least have thought about buying a home.  Especially here in San Diego, where the idea of owning a home seems to have evolved from a dream, to a way of life – it’s not something that you might, or hope to do…it’s more like you will do it and it’s just a matter of when.

Do you need a Korean Realtor in San Diego?

Old-newMy parents moved from South Korea to Los Angeles before I was born and in 1980, they moved to Redondo Beach and they had me. It was in Redondo Beach that I grew up and then moved to San Diego for college in 1998. I attended the University of California, San Diego and majored in Communications. Since then, I haven’t wanted to live anywhere else. I love San Diego and everything about it.

San Diego County Soccer Leagues

Kids soccer 4I’ve been playing soccer since I was about 5 years old and I’ve never loved it more than I do now. Having grown up in the Los Angeles area (Redondo Beach to be exact), I can truely appreciate the San Diego soccer scene. Unlike my home town, San Diego has several adult leagues in different parts of the county and since it’s always 72 degrees and sunny, we get to play
