Situated on the north side of the South tower, unit 3701 has some incredible views. What I like most about this Grande penthouse, is that it’s views are very protected. Unlike many of the units Downtown, the north facing units in the South tower of The Grande are very safe.

I recently went on a tour of the new Electra – San Diego’s tallest residential building. I was with my team, going through some of our new listings and I took some pictures while I had the chance. This will be one of San Diego’s most sought after buildings.
BOSA Development has delivered another incredible building. The views, the lobby,

If you’ve spent much time on my blog, then you know that I’m a huge fan of BOSA and what they build. And while I have yet to set foot in Electra, I have a feeling that this is going to be their best condo tower, here in San Diego – possibly surpassing Park Place’s warm, classic feel.
Originally built in 1911 to accommodate the San Diego Electrical Railway company, SDG&E purchased and expanded the building to meet San Diego’s growing needs, turning it into what we know as Station B. Today, Electra sits inside of the restored SDG&E building, located at 700 West E Street. With 43 stories and 248 homes, Electra is now Downtown San Diego’s highest residential building.

The market is bad, homes are over priced, inventory is too high and interest rates are terrible….sound familiar? Well is that really the case? Having been in the business for three years, I’ll admit, this is still somewhat new to me. It’s true, I’m not as experienced, or as old, as some of my colleagues. However, I have been in the business long enough to know that bad news sells better than good news and that older isn’t always better.
Here are a few highlights on an article that Alan Nevin wrote in the September issue of the San Diego Metropolitan magazine.

What’s so grand about The Grande? For starters, these twin towers were built by BOSA Development and anyone who knows anything about Downtown condos, knows that BOSA is one of, if not the best developers we have. BOSA is based in Vancouver Canada, but is Downtown San Diego’s largest residential developer.
