Over a billion people live in slums around the world. That’s 14% of the world’s population. Put another way, that’s 1 out of 7 people living without hope amongst trash, sewage, drugs and abuse in unimaginable conditions. Denny Oh & Associates is trying to change that statistic. We are giving a portion of our commission from every home we sell to fund a community in Tijuana, Mexico through the organization World Housing.
On top of what we’re doing individually, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty is donating to World Housing as well. We hope together as a company, we can make a difference giving people a new start, a new beginning of a life with safety, security and stability. Thank you everyone for helping Denny Oh & Associates finish #4 in 2016 for all downtown real estate agents/teams. Michelle and I worked incredibly hard for our clients, closing 29 transactions downtown and nearly 40 through the county. With that said, #4 isn’t #1, so we’ll be working even harder this year, especially now that we have a marketing director, Jenna. Look out for our new marketing and please let us know if we can help you, or anyone you know. With sales in 15 different San Diego zip codes in just the last few years, we cover way more than Downtown.
Congrats to all the other agents and teams, especially the newer agents – I know how hard this industry can be!

Blogging has been a huge part of growing my business, but as I’ve grown, blogging has sadly taken a back seat. I’ve shifted more of my time and energy to helping my existing clients and less on sharing my thoughts and experiences. With that said, I’m still very much in the business (you’d be surprised how many people ask if I’m still a realtor, due to my infrequent blogging) and in fact, business has never been better! Unfortunately, I won’t be retiring anytime soon and I don’t want to do anything other than sell real estate.
Over the last year or so, I’ve gone from being a solo agent with Sotheby’s, to a (small) team – Denny Oh & Associates. I recruited a buyer’s agent, Michelle Plastiras, and a full time marketing director, Jenna McCrory. Last year (2016), we closed $21M in volume and sold nearly 40 homes. We were ranked #4 out of all downtown agents/teams and I was given the recognition of “100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents.” I was also recruited to our new La Jolla office, which is Pacific Sotheby’s headquarters. Needless to say, we’ve been very busy and are extremely grateful for all of your support!
Check out my new listing at The Mark condos in downtown San Diego’s East Village. Unit 304 is a 1br/1ba condo with 842 sqft. It’s currently the lowest priced condo in the building and is a great value for someone who wants to live in a top tier building, but not spend a fortune (the average 1br sales price at The Mark over the last 12 months is over $540K).
What if I told you that I could save you 10.8% off of a condo at Electra, without even having to negotiate? What if I could simultaneously make your condo 12% larger without doing a thing? Ok, well that might a bit misleading, but it’s kind of true. Right now, there’s a condo for sale at Electra (which happens to be the best floor plan in Electra) that is listed as a 1380 sqft condo. The tax records however list it as a 1548 sqft condo – which is what Bosa Development listed it as when it was built.
I’m just about to bring The Mark 1703 to the market. This is a 1br/1ba condo that faces north over the downtown San Diego skyline. There are beautiful acacia wood floors throughout, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, high ceilings and a private storage room.
Here is a Matterport tour of my newest listing – 200 Harbor Drive #3202, located in the Harbor Club towers in the Marina District of Downtown San Diego. Take a walk through and let me know if you’d like to schedule a showing – the photos don’t do it justice!

Ann LeBaron and I just listed condo #3202 at the Harbor Club. This is a “bubble” unit, which is generally the most desired floor plan in the building (excluding combined/half floor/whole floor units) due to it’s panoramic views. Unit 3202 at the Harbor Club has only had one owner and is in pristine condition. The condo was remodeled by Harold Pell Interiors with incredible quality and detail – diagonally laid hardwood bamboo floors thru out, custom mahogany millwork & pocket doors thru out, & completely redesigned SeiMatic kitchen with amazing amount of storage. The guest bedroom has been modified to provide a more open flow and maximize the stunning views. It features a custom media wall & Shoji screens for privacy.
Ann LeBaron and I just listed unit 3202 at the Harbor Club towers. This is a 2br/2ba condo that’s referred to as the “bubble unit” due to it’s rounded walls and panoramic views. Photos and the virtual tour will be ready late next week, but I can schedule showings as early as this weekend. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
