Blogging has been a huge part of growing my business, but as I’ve grown, blogging has sadly taken a back seat. I’ve shifted more of my time and energy to helping my existing clients and less on sharing my thoughts and experiences. With that said, I’m still very much in the business (you’d be surprised how many people ask if I’m still a realtor, due to my infrequent blogging) and in fact, business has never been better! Unfortunately, I won’t be retiring anytime soon and I don’t want to do anything other than sell real estate.
Over the last year or so, I’ve gone from being a solo agent with Sotheby’s, to a (small) team – Denny Oh & Associates. I recruited a buyer’s agent, Michelle Plastiras, and a full time marketing director, Jenna McCrory. Last year (2016), we closed $21M in volume and sold nearly 40 homes. We were ranked #4 out of all downtown agents/teams and I was given the recognition of “100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents.” I was also recruited to our new La Jolla office, which is Pacific Sotheby’s headquarters. Needless to say, we’ve been very busy and are extremely grateful for all of your support!
I’m often asked if I only sell homes in the downtown area, or if I only sell condos. The simple answer is no. I help clients all over San Diego county and have lived more than half of my life in San Diego and know most neighborhoods very well. In the last few years, I’ve sold homes on Oceanside, Del Mar, Mission Hills, Pt Loma, Rancho Bernardo, Hillcrest, Banker’s Hill, North Park, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Clairemont Mesa, UTC and of course Downtown. And now that I’m based in La Jolla, I’ll be expanding my services even more.
For 2017, Denny Oh & Associates will be aggressively marketing in the Downtown and La Jolla markets. I’m incredibly excited to ramp up our marketing and help our clients even more. And even though I represent clients all over the county, I simply can’t market to all of San Diego County. For those of you who I’ve been fortunate enough to work with, please keep me in mind in the future and I would love to have you refer me to anyone, anywhere in San Diego. If I’m not able to help that person for any reason, I’ll make sure we find the right person for the job.
Thank you all for your support and I hope to hear from you soon.
