Alta Condos in Downtown San Diego

Alta – a 21 story highrise in the middle of downtown San Diego is just about sold out.  With only three condos left, the building is over 98% sold out and ready to move on.  Built by an Australian developer, Anka, Alta has done well in this down market.  Built in 2007, Alta is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, just south of Market Street.

Prices on the remaining Alta condos range from the high $600Ks, down to the high $500Ks.  However, I think the developer will come down a bit, 5–10%, putting these remaining condos in the low $500–600K range.  Alta is in a great location and offers some great views.  The building has a pool, fitness center, hot tub, a recreation room and guest parking.
