I’m not talking about equity in your home, or even a perfect credit score.

I’m talking about a truly one of a kind downtown condo.  Unit 1901 at the Renaissance in downtown San Diego is probably one of the coolest condos I’ve seen.  Yes I realize “cool” isn’t the most professional term, but that’s the best word to describe this condo.  Located on the 19^th floor of the north tower at Renaissance, unit 1901 is my dream home.

At 1,878 square feet, this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, plus media room condo isn’t abnormally large, but “normal” can’t be associated with it in any way.  Purchased for $1,910,000 back in December of 2005, the owner has since put about $700,000 into this awesome condo.  The owner has done a tremendous job with this remodel and has modified walls, closets, the ceiling and pretty much everything else in the place.  This is truly a floor to ceiling renovation.

Renaissance #1901 has raised ceilings, pocket doors, Italian wood flooring, custom stone work and a convenient Lutron lighting system. It’s too hard to list, or describe the modifications, but what I can tell you is that in my five years in real estate, I’ve seen nothing like this.

The quality of work and craftsmanship in this condo is remarkable.  There’s a perfect blend of functionality and elegance in this condo.  This is one of the rare homes that’s been completely redone, but still appeals to practically everyone.

What’s even better about this condo is that at a list price of $1,900,000, it comes furnished.
