HUGE Penthouse for CHEAP – Renaissance Condo Deal

Have you been thinking about moving downtown, but can’t live in a tiny condo?  Do you want a walk-in closet and incredible views?  Well here you go.  This deal is incredible for a number of reasons.

This two story penthouse has almost 3,800 square feet.  Most condos are less than half than size!  Renaissance unit 2001 is located in the North tower at Renaissance, which is located in the most central part of downtown.  In fact, Renaissance probably has the most convenient address of all buildings downtown.

Spread out over two floors, this penthouse sits on the north-west corner and has incredible, protected, water and city views.  Downstairs, there are two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.  One of the bedrooms is currently set up as a theater room, but could easily be converted back to a guest room, or home office.  There is also a large living room, dining room and an open kitchen with an island – all of which have great views.

Upstairs, you’ll find a huge master suite, which also has a private sitting room that over looks the city and bay.  Both upstairs bedrooms have huge walk-in closets and their own bathrooms.  The master also has a gas fireplace and large balcony.

Aside from all the space, the reason why this property is such a great deal, is because of it’s price.  Listed at $1.6 million, you’re buying a penthouse with incredible protected views for $422 per square foot! To give you an idea of how cheap this is, here are some comparisons…

This same floorplan, on the same floor, sold this past July for $2.2 million$567 per square foot.  Another unit on the 19th floor sold last March for $1.8 million dollars, but it was 600 square feet smaller and it wasn’t even a finished unit.

Renaissance unit 2002 does need some work, but only minimal work.  You’d have to replace the carpet in the bedrooms, probably repaint the place, add some lights and add come California closets.  If you wanted to go all the way, I’d redo the bathrooms and possibly some new appliances.  All in all, I think you could do a phenomenal remodel for less than $100K.

This unit is a foreclosure and won’t last long.  If you want a lot of space and views, this is a no brainer.  Look at the alternatives below.

Note – the top two units are on the first and third floors respectively(one’s not even in a highrise building).  Call me to get more info.
