Park Place - A Classic…

ParkplaceOf all the high rise condos that we have in Downtown San Diego, I think Park Place has the best feel to it. By this, I mean that the look of the building, the quality of the construction, the amenities, the lobby and even the staff always seems to look…well, nice. With a high-end resort like feel, Park Place is another BOSA Development success. Completed in 2003, this was BOSA’s third San Diego

community, but their fourth tower(Horizons has two towers and Discovery has one).

With 178 units(161 condos and 17 town homes) and 30 floors of high rise living, Park Place offers some of the best views Downtown San Diego has to offer. The best water view units are the 03 and 04 units, which offer unobstructed bay views – even from lower floors. The 02 units also offer incredible city views, which are best seen at night when the skyline it lit up. With units ranging from 1,125 square feet, going up all the way up to 2,172 square feet, I’m sure you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for. Parkplace poolThe pool is surrounded by palm trees and the gym has a great view down Harbor Drive. Being only a few blocks away from the Gaslamp District and even less from Ralph’s and Horton Plaza, this is a great spot to live.

With the old police headquarters being completely renovated, Park Place residents will soon be right across the street from new restaurants, parks and shopping. And residents can currently enjoy breakfast, or some coffee at the Brickyard cafe. This is a great place to spend a lazy Sunday, or stop in for a quick bite.

I think what attracts most people to this building is unique design and personality. Each building Downtown offers its own values and in some cases, drawbacks to buyers and owners. This may be the location of building, its age, the amenities, the views, or maybe the floor plans. As a buyer, it’s up to you to decide what’s most important to you and what you like the most.

Parkplace courtyardSimply put, Park Place offers a lot. Located on the East side of the Marina district, it’s a short walk to the Gaslamp, Petco, or up to Little Italy. The quality, being a Bosa building, is second to none and for the most part, the floor plans are very functional as well. And when it comes to views, Park Place can compete with anyone. And going back to the design of the building, I think you’ll find that few other buildings, if any, offer anything similar to Park Place. This is not your standard high rise. It has an elegant tower, a midrise portion and the signature tri-level townhouses. Come take a look!

Park Place does not offer any guest suites, but it does have the Embassy Suites next door. The building also sets itself apart by offering underground guest parking, which always seems to be available. If you’re considering buying Downtown, you won’t want to skip over Park Place. This building is truly a one of a kind.
